Triumph Racing and Macadam Triumph Factory Racing are pleased to announce that the team will stick with its rider lineup in 2025 for the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship with Luke Stapleford and Max Wadsworth onboard their Triumph Street Triple 765 machines.

Stapleford won the British Supersport title on a Triumph in 2015 and immediately felt right at home returning to Triumph in 2024. He narrowly missed out on the title and was crowned 2024 vice-champion and the Hinckley rider is looking to go one better in 2025.

Wadsworth rode the Street Triple 765 for the first time in 2024 and consistently set personal best times and regularly contested in the top 10 in the highly competitive championship. He is looking forward to building on his progress in 2025.

The 2025 Quattro Group British Supersport season kicks off 3 - 5 May at Oulton Park.

Luke Stapleford, #8: “I'm really happy to be back with the Macadam Triumph Factory Racing team for 2025, after a strong season last year finishing second overall we’re certainly looking to go one better this season. The team made me feel at home straight away last year so it made complete sense to continue what we’ve built on. Although I felt we were the fastest last year, I made a few mistakes which cost us so it gives me plenty to work on and improve which should only make us even stronger. I can’t thank Dave and his team enough for putting their trust in me and I can’t wait to get back out on track.”

Max Wadsworth, #72: “I’m really excited to continue my British Supersport journey with Macadam Triumph Factory Racing and it feels like a privilege to be staying with the team for another season. I want to say thank you to Triumph for giving me this opportunity. This year I look to be improving round by round and showing what I’m capable of.”

Steve Sargent, Triumph Motorcycles Chief Product Officer: “We are excited to continue this season where we left off and build on the successes of 2024. Luke won six races and was on the podium 16 times. Now he and the team have a season’s experience working together, we are confident that next season will be even better. Max is feeling more comfortable on the Street Triple now and will be targeting strong results in 2025.”

Dave Wadsworth, Macadam Triumph Factory Racing, Team Owner: “I’m so pleased to have Luke and Max riding for the team again in 2025. Luke obviously just missed out on the title and he’s hungry for more success this year. Max really started to gel with the 765cc in the second half of the season and is ready to come out fighting this year. The two riders work really well together and the dynamic in the team is strong so we are all excited to see what we can achieve in 2025.”
